Department Overview

McDonald’s has an exciting opportunity for a Supervisor, People Experience (Engagement Strategy) role based in our India Global Business Services Office.  Our culture is built on a foundation of respect, inclusion, and continuous improvement. As part of our efforts to continually improve employee experience and strengthen our culture, you will design and implement new people Listening and Survey strategies, analyze listening data and provide actionable insights to improve restaurant and corporate culture and employee engagement. The role is essential to ensuring that our teams have a voice in shaping an inclusive, productive, and engaging workplace.

This individual will work closely with HR, leadership, cross-functional leads and vendors to ensure listening solutions and surveys capture meaningful insights and drive actionable changes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in listening strategy, data analysis, and an understanding of how to translate findings into practical strategies to improve restaurant culture and employee engagement.

Duties

 

Strategy Design and Project Management:  

  • Strategy Design: Assist in designing an effective people strategy (for restaurants and staff) to impact employee engagement, satisfaction, culture, and specific areas of interest (e.g., leadership, teamwork, work environment). 
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliverables across Engagement Strategy work, with attention to detail to manage detailed project plan 
  • Third Party Vendor Collaboration: Ability to partner with third party vendors to ensure strategy translates to execution and deliverables Data Collection & Analysis Support. 
  • Data Analysis: Analyse various channels of feedback/data to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Provide actionable insights that highlight employee sentiments, challenges, and opportunities for improvement. 
  • Actionable Insights: Provide actionable recommendations based on survey findings to improve employee engagement, retention, and overall restaurant culture. Support teams in developing strategies for addressing areas of concern. 
  • Report / Dashboard Creation: Support with the development of People strategy reporting and/or dashboards to inform actions and strategies  

 

Continuous Improvement and Optimization: 

  • Continuous Improvement: Regularly evaluate and optimize processes, ensuring it evolves to meet changing organizational needs and employee expectations. 
  • Engagement Tools: Assist in selecting, managing, and improving the tools and platforms used for Engagement channels (e.g., Qualtrics etc.). 
  • Collaboration with Teams: Work cross-functionally with HR, operations, and other teams to ensure alignment in engagement strategy, goals and the implementation of action plans 

Qualifications

 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Degree in Industrial-Psychology, Data Science, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred  
  • Experience working in Organizational Culture, Business or People Analytics, Human Resources, or a related field 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to evaluate programs and recommend improvements 
  • Proficiency in survey technology systems and tools 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and levels 
  • Project Management on cross-functional, global projects  

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities  
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills 
  • Knowledge of HR compliance and data privacy regulations 
  • Strong business acumen 
  • Exceptional communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills 
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to learn; self-starter 
  • Strong ability to influence others; able to build and drive a strong business case for people as a growth driver 
  • Experienced in collaborating with cross-functional partners in a matrixed environment

Work pattern: Full-time role.
